When I think back over the past year and how I was against having an NGO I can actually laugh out loud. I feel proud of our amazing board members located all over the globe and in Kenya, I am very thankful to them all for all of their support and how they each contribute wherever they are in the world.
This year hasn’t been an easy one, there have been many struggles, lots of tears (mostly on my part) and disagreements, but also many achievements at the same time.
We have been able to provide food for 1195 children and women living on the street, we have rescued 4 street boys and 3 street women, we held a medical camp for the street women and children, we supplied 65 packs of diapers for the babies living on the streets with their mothers, we have sponsors for 17 children so they are now getting an education, the most exciting would be that we were able to purchase 1 acre of land for Scotty’s Rescue Centre, the list goes on and on and we did all of this despite COVID hitting everyone around the world.
We wouldn’t have been able to any of these without the continued support of you all around the world, you give us the encouragement, donation dollars and strength for us to keep going to achieve all of our goals at Because ALL Children Matter.
Knowing that you believe in our cause and want to help they way you do makes us all want to do better, not only for you but for the most vulnerable children living the harshest life on the streets in Kenya!!
Getting to life my life helping all these amazing women and children has impacted me in such a way that I really do nit have words to explain the feeling I have…I just know that I am lucky to be able to do what I love to do!
